Manning, Cooper and Associates Ltd is a firm of highly qualified and experienced professionals working in the field of applied forestry-wildlife and landscape management. Since 1993, MCA Ltd. has worked closely with a diverse range of organizations, both public and private, to provide realistic, science-based solutions for land and resource management.
MCA Ltd. presently maintains three offices in British Columbia: Head Office (Parksville), a Northern Interior Office (Prince George) and a Northwest Office (South Hazelton). MCA Ltd. presently employs 8 permanent full-time and as many as 14 additional seasonally full-time staff including Forest and Wildlife Research Technicians. MCA Ltd. also employs highly qualified specialists in GIS and statistical analyses as required for projects related to wildlife and habitat inventory and monitoring, environmental assessments, and fisheries work.
The MCA Ltd. team has special expertise with landscape and stand-level biodiversity planning, wildlife and habitat inventory studies, best management practices for Species at Risk, environmental impact assessments, landscape development planning, forest worker training and wildlife and danger tree assessments.
